- Led NY 1 to produce 24 hours of news per day with 1/3 the staff and 1/3 the technical and operating expenses compared to competitors through the development and implementation of strategic workflows and technologies.
- Co-developed 24-hour newswheel that was a combination of live and pre-recorded segments with the ability to switch between the two seamlessly, giving a consistently live appearance.
- Credited with increasing editorial staff by 70% and reducing technical staff by 70% by creating processes and implementing trainings that enabled editorial staff to manage technical operations, including the creation of screen graphics through templates and scheduling playback segments, allowing for effective and consolidated operations.

Developed and Implemented Workflow and Facility Redesign of NewsOneNow for TVOne. Improved production quality and output by 20% and reduced costs by 20% of NewsOneNow for TVOne. Systems include digital asset management, editing, control room automation and digital news gathering.

Spearheaded Conversion to Digital File Based End to End Workflow for Queens Public Television. The conversion supported 4 live linear chanels, streaming channels, web content and On Demand content. Sytems included digital asset management, file based playout, digital archive, HD Master Control, HD Routing Infrastructure, 10GiG Ethernet Network, Two (2) Production Control Rooms, 2 Production Studios including 4 HD Cameras on Robotic Pedestals, LED Lighting.

In three (3) months, Developed and Implemented Disaster Recovery Infrastructure and Redundant Content Delivery Network solutions for WWE.Com. Streamlining content delivery for live and video on demand content for WWE improving reliability by 60%.

Designed and implemented a automated and streamlined production environment for Vocativ.Com Facility was designed and constructed in 5 months and required 70% fewer production and technical staff. Facility integrated complex data sources, virtual sets and robotic camera jib operated by one person. Systems included control room automation, virtual sets, graphics, content management.

Pioneered the creation and development of the first HD video based local news service in Stamford providing consistent and extensive HD video coverage of city news, events and high school sports highlights. Service was brought to market in 9 months and was delivered on iOS, Android, mobile web and web,

In less than one year, itsrevelvant.com reached 10% of the Stamford population per month, with over 80% of the traffic going directly to its URL, and generating between 10-12K story views per week.

Developed and restructured news and production technology plans for Bloomberg Multimedia, allowing the company to efficiently produce content for television, mobile, and web platforms. Systems included newsroom, news automation, editing, asset management, asset distribution.

Designed, constructed and managed digital file based production facilities for Reuters Insider Desktop Video Service. Facility was designed and ready for air in seven (7) months and included 3 studios, 2 control rooms, 15 FCP edit systems on shared storage, file based ingest and playout on shared storage.

Developed and implemented a new digital workflow for NBCSports.Com. Workflow allowed NBCSports.com to efficiently create and distribute original content and re-purposed NBC Sports content.

Managed the architectural design, construction, technical construction, and implementation of a leading edge, digital, file-based newsroom production system for SUNY Stony Brook Journalism School.

Led an 18-month consultancy project Verizon FiOS, directing the design and implementation of FiOS 1 Local, Verizon’s first local news and information channel in the Washington, D.C. market.

Launched nine (9) 24-hour local news channels for Time Warner Cable. Each channel went from market selection to on-air in less than one year with a corporate staff of four (4) reporting to me.
- Managed a software development team of 50 to integrate new hardware and software. This effort that was completed in eight months and was rolled out to six new channels in 22 months, a process that typically would take two years. Reduced completion schedule by 14 months.
- Developed and implemented a tapeless end-to-end newsroom production system that allowed news content to be produced with a control room team of three and editorial team of three each.
- Implemented desktop editing from a central server via Ethernet in 2000, 7 years ahead of the industry.
